Scooter Rental in Cefalù
The fastest and most fun way to experience Cefalù: 50, 125 and 300cc scooters with helmet and insurance included, ready in minutes.

Why a scooter is the perfect vehicle in Cefalù
In summer, coastal traffic and the hunt for parking can steal hours of your holiday. With a rental scooter you get everywhere in minutes: the Cathedral in the morning, Mazzaforno beach in the afternoon, Sant'Ambrogio for sunset. You park in dedicated two-wheeler spaces, often free, and move around stress-free even on the busiest days.
Our scooters are checked before every handover and always include a certified helmet (a second helmet is available as an extra), unlimited kilometres and basic insurance. You pick up your scooter at our base on the SS113, a stone's throw from the centre of Cefalù.
Which engine size to choose
A 50cc is perfect for getting around town and reaching the nearby beaches: nimble, cheap and rideable with an AM licence. The 125cc, also rideable with a standard car licence (B), is the most popular: two people, a top case for the beach and enough power for the climbs to the hillside villages. If you want to reach Castelbuono or tackle the Madonie hairpins two-up, a 200-300cc gives you headroom and comfort on the open road.
Not sure? Write to us: we'll recommend the right model based on your routes, riding experience and number of passengers.
Documents and requirements
For 50cc scooters an AM (or B) licence is enough; for 125cc you need an A1 licence or an Italian/European B licence; above 125cc an A2/A licence is required. Non-EU visitors should also carry an International Driving Permit. You'll also need an ID document and a payment card for the security deposit.
Check-in is done online before arrival: upload your licence and documents from home, then just sign and go on site. In high season we recommend booking a few days ahead — scooters are our most requested vehicles.

Scooter rental in Cefalù — FAQ
How much does it cost to rent a scooter in Cefalù?
Prices start from around €25 per day for a 50cc in low season, helmet and insurance included. Rates drop for multi-day rentals: enter your dates in the search to see real prices for each model.
What licence do I need to ride a 125cc scooter?
In Italy a 125cc can be ridden with an A1 licence or with a standard car licence (B, including European ones). For 50cc an AM licence is enough. Non-EU visitors should also carry an International Driving Permit.
Is the helmet included in the rental?
Yes, every scooter includes a certified helmet. A second helmet for your passenger is available as an extra at booking time, together with a top case and full damage coverage.
Can I ride into Cefalù's old town?
The old town is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) with cameras active 24/7, motorised two-wheelers included. Park in the scooter bays just outside the ZTL — often free — and continue on foot: the centre is a pleasant few minutes' walk.
Can I reach the Madonie or Palermo by scooter?
With a 125cc or bigger you can ride the state roads to Castelbuono, Gibilmanna and the Madonie villages — kilometres are unlimited. For long rides like Palermo we recommend at least a 200cc, or a car if there are more than two of you.
