1. Subject of the service
Rent Me Now is a platform that connects users with participating vehicle rental companies and lets them book and, where available, pay online.
2. Role of the platform
The rental contract is concluded directly between you and the selected rental company, which is solely responsible for availability, the condition of the vehicle and the performance of the service. The platform facilitates booking and payment but is not a party to the rental contract.
3. Bookings, payments and deposits
- The amounts shown include the items indicated at the time of booking; any deposits are a guarantee and not a charge.
- Online payments are handled through Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment service provider; transactions apply the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) required by the PSD2 directive and card details never pass through our servers.
- The applicable cancellation and refund conditions are those indicated in the booking and/or by the rental company.
4. User obligations
- Provide truthful data and the valid documents required for the rental.
- Comply with the minimum age, driving requirements and the rental company's conditions.
- Not use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for damages arising from the rental relationship, which falls within the rental company's responsibility. The rights granted to consumers under applicable law remain unaffected.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.
