– Departure from Cefalù

Our journey begins in the splendid coastal town of Cefalù, famous for its golden beaches and picturesque historic center. Getting on our scooters, we start heading up towards Gibilmanna, immersed in nature and traveling along a paved road that offers us enchanting glimpses of the Sicilian hill landscape.

– Sanctuary of Gibilmanna

Our first stop is the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna. Located among the hills, this sacred place offers a spectacular panoramic view. If the sanctuary is open according to visiting hours, we’ll have the opportunity to explore its interior for free as well. This place of peace and serenity is perfect for a short break and for taking some memorable photos.

– through Isnello and the Guarneri Forest

Continuing our journey, we proceed on the paved road until we reach the picturesque village of Isnello. During this stretch, we cross the evocative Isnello Bridge, a panoramic point that offers a breathtaking view of the river and surrounding hills. This small village is a hidden gem, with its narrow streets and stone houses. It’s a perfect place for a brief stop and to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of rural Sicily.

– Giant Bench

Before reaching the heart of Castelbuono, we make a stop at the famous Giant Bench, located right below the castle. This panoramic point is perfect for taking spectacular photos and enjoying a unique view of the medieval village.

– Arrival in Castelbuono

Our final destination is Castelbuono, a charming medieval village known for its historic architecture and vibrant cultural life. Here, a delightful surprise awaits us: a tasting offered at the renowned Fiasconaro pastry shop.

Fiasconaro is famous for its artisanal panettones, so much so that one of them was sent to space and even offered to the Pope. Its packaging, created in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, are true works of art. During the tasting, we’ll have the opportunity to savor some of its specialties and discover the secrets of this Sicilian pastry excellence.

After exploring Castelbuono and tasting Fiasconaro’s delights, it will be time to return to Cefalù.

Getting back on our scooters, we start traveling along the state road, following the coast and admiring the crystal-clear waters and cliffs overlooking the sea, carrying with us indelible memories and an experience we’ll talk about for years.
